June has been a busy month in the UK which is why I haven’t published as many posts as usual. Mr O’T and I finally retrieved all of our belongings from storage and moved into a lovely two bed cottage in Wilmslow, Cheshire. After seven months, you have no idea how ecstatic I was to be reunited with all of my dresses…100 of them to be exact 🤣!
I’ve had one flight this month to Italy, which is where I’m currently based. We explored the stunning region of Cinque Terre earlier this week and we’re now in Tuscany for one more week. I’ll be making up for lost time in July so expect plenty of Italy posts coming up!
I had one trip to London this month which spanned over a three day period. Naturally I took advantage and jam packed my diary with lots of fun and fabulous activities. First off I attended the ‘Photo Walks – Rediscover The City’ photography tour with the lovely guys from Hand Luggage Only who teamed up with Apple. The purpose of the tour, aside from discovering a few hidden gems was to learn tips and tricks on how to get the best photos using your iPhone. I certainly learnt a thing or two along the way and I was really pleased with the results. One of my favourites is this photo I took of London’s Carnaby Street…not bad if I do say so myself!
After the tour I dashed over to London Bridge to check into The LaLiT London – a beautiful new 5* star boutique hotel located right next to Tower Bridge. I have a full blog post coming out on this tomorrow so stay tuned!
I was also in town to attend the Blogosphere Blog Awards 2017 which was great fun. I particularly enjoyed catching up with friends and meeting new bloggers who I hadn’t met before – it’s always nice to put faces to social media profiles 🙂.
Before heading back to Manchester, Mr O’T and I popped into Harrods – my favourite luxury department store. We were booked in for a spot of lunch at Pan Chai and enjoyed some wonderful sushi platters. You can read the full low down on the blog shortly.
I had a girls day out with my mum a couple of weeks ago at Mottram Hall in Cheshire. We indulged in a champagne afternoon tea before heading over to Knutsford for a little retail therapy.
I’ll be continuing my sejour in Italy for the first week of the month in the idyllic hills of Tuscany. The end of July will see me heading to Chantilly in France to celebrate my Father-in-law’s 60th Birthday. Lots of exciting activities are planned including a trip to watch the Polo. I’m also wondering if I’ll return from the trip as a Chantilly convert. I’m not the biggest fan of chantilly cream but maybe it tastes different eating it from the source!?
What exciting things do you have planned for July?
