A cruise through the Norwegian Fjords, with P&O Britannia was my first trip of the month. This was very much an active holiday but a fabulous one at that! My favourite stop on our cruise was the pretty village of Flam. If you ever find yourself in the area then the Flam Railway is a must!
Three weeks after returning from Norway, I flew out to Lima to see my mum, extended family and to witness my beautiful cousin Carmen Rosa get married. I think you’ll agree that my cousin looked like a real life princess on her big day. My family are over the moon that she’s found her prince charming and I wish her and her husband Juan a lifetime of love, wealth, health and happiness!
On the 27th September, Mr O’T and I marked our 3rd wedding anniversary. We haven’t officially celebrated as I spent the entire day flying and I’ve only just returned. I also had no WIFI while I was away which is why I haven’t published a blog post for a little while. I’ve had a relaxing last couple of days and now that I’m over my jet lag, I’m going to plan something fun and fabulous to celebrate next week.
The London social scene was in full swing this month with London Fashion Week in town. I was honoured to attend Aspinal of London’s Fashion Week event at Claridge’s with Aftab which was so much fun! We caught with Angie and drooled over their S/S18 collection whilst sipping on Laurent Perrier Champagne – the perfect way to spend a Monday afternoon!
A long overdue catchup was in order with the beautiful Sima. One glass inevitably turned into two which somehow turned into three….you get the picture! I also caught up with Suze over lunch at the new Hello Kitty pop-up at Tombopoke and I had a quick coffee catch-up with Binny after her amazing trip to Thailand. Zoe and I met up for the first time and what better way to catch up than over a glass of Champagne at the Corinthia!
There were two standout meals for me this month. This first was dinner at Blandford Comptoir in Marylebone and the second was an incredible Basque brunch at Eneko at One Aldwych. My review on this is coming later this week so stay tuned!
This month I attended a few events closer to home. The Boardroom held their 3rd Birthday Party at celebrity hangout Rosso in Manchester. This was great for networking with fellow entrepreneurs and small business owners. I also attended the re-launch of the Simply Argan boutique in Wilmslow. I love Argan products and having this boutique right on my doorstep is going to prove very dangerous! I also met some lovely Manchester bloggers at the event – Rachel, Missy and Jacinta.
I spent the first week of October in Lima so the rest of the month will be more chilled out. I’m planning a girls trip away for November and Oman is currently at the top of our wish list. If you’ve visited before and have any recommendations then please do send them my way!
What exciting things have you been up to recently and what do you have planned for October?
